Job Description

Seeking a Formulations Scientist to support ASO drug product formulation and process development. This role focuses on formulation design, characterization (DLS, zeta potential, HPLC), stability assessment, and troubleshooting, with strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and clear data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Drug product formulation and process development activities in support of ASO research.
  • Formulation characterization, such as Particle size and PDI (DLS), Zeta potential, Encapsulation efficiency, Visual appearance, turbidity, etc.
  • Assessment of the chemical and physical stability of formulations, as well as the performance of formulations using in-vitro tests
  • Identify potential stability and performance issues with prototype formulations
  • Analytical characterization via operation and troubleshooting of HPLC and other instrumentation.
  • Data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and presentation
  • Troubleshooting and Process development
  • Collaborate with multiple teams throughout the study timeline
Qualifications
  • BS in a life sciences discipline (Biology, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, etc.) with at least three years of pharmaceutical industry experience working in drug product development.
  • Preferably to have hands on experience with formulation characterization techniques (particle size, DLS, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency etc.) and analytical techniques (HPLC, ELISA, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and follow report protocols and coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
