Department Summary
This position supports the Assistant Director of Football Operations/Director of Video and Assistant Athletic Director of Football Operations with all operations of the football team.
Duties include assisting with the management, organization, implementation, and maintenance of all aspects of the team video and game analysis for both internal team development and external scouting purposes; coordination of travel; coordination of practice; set-up of the recruiting pavilion for home games; assist with football recruiting, and other duties as assigned.
Position Profile
Plans and manages administrative aspects of Ohio University Athletics operations, including program administration, human resources, financial operations, events, and compliance. Administers and manages Athletics budget and fiscal operations. Responsible for the development of department policies and procedures.
Level Summary
Performs professional-level work that involves basic, operational problem-solving. Independently resolves day-to-day issues and executes clearly defined tasks. Provides data analysis and informational insights to support decision-making.
Supervisory Responsibilities
None; may assist with training student employees.
Fiscal Responsibilities
No budgetary responsibility. May be responsible for validating transactions.
Problem Solving
Solves routine problems with defined processes and guidance.
Independence of Action
Works under close supervision.
Communication and Collaboration
Collaborates with peers and follows guidance from supervisor.
Physical Requirements
This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and less than 3 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Collegiate football experience.
