Job description

This position will run from April through November. 

Salt Fork Lodge is seeking a skilled Golf Course Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Kimbolton, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of golf course equipment to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality playing experience for our guests. This role offers a competitive hourly wage of $15.00 - $18.00, with pay distributed bi-weekly.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on golf course machinery including mowers, tractors, and other turf equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow all health and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with the groundskeeping and maintenance teams to support daily operations.
  • Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in golf course or grounds maintenance equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment efficiently.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred.
