Job Description
Scope of Position
The Engineering Supervisor is a direct support to the Director of Engineering, the Assistant Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager. The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for ensuring an environment exists where Colleagues are responded to in a friendly, helpful and fair manner.
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, Payroll, scheduling, gathering contractor bids and all other tasks as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director, and Manager of Engineering
  • Monitor, document, and manage service requests to ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction
  • Assist the Engineering Manager with daily briefings and departmental meetings
  • Track, document, and report on projects, preventive maintenance programs and work orders
  • Coordinate purchasing requests and help maintain adequate inventory levels for parts, tools, and supplies
  • Convey information and ideas clearly to team
  • Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Effectively handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Listen, understand, and clarify any concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed

Hourly Rate: $35.00
Qualifications
  • -Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • -College degree preferred or at least 2 years of progressive related experience with a High School Diploma
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera, Birchstreet, and Dayforce
  • Must have excellent oral, written, communication and organizational skills
  • Self-starter, ability to make decisions with a high level of common sense
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and follow up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • College degree preferred or at least 2 years of progressive related experience with a High School Diploma
