One of our Financial clients in New York City, is looking for a C# .NET Developer.
Duration: 1 year (Contract-to-Hire)
Hourly: $55 - $60 (W2 only)
Must-to-Have Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience working in a financial institution or similar
- Strong .NET Core and .NET Framework experience including C#
- Hands-on experience with Angular, Kendo UI and Typescript
- Extensive experience with Relational Databases like SQL Server
- Database design and development using SQL
- Financial Institution experience
Scope:
You will primarily work with .NET (Framework & .NET Core in C#) and Angular. Experience with React, Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure, InfoPath (legacy), Power Automate, REST APIs, Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build and support enterprise web applications.
- Propose innovative solutions while complying with IT policies and Natixis standards.
- Promote modern technologies, best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with onโshore and nearโshore teams, IT stakeholders and business users.
- Work in a crossโfunctional agile environment and contribute to the innovation roadmap.
Skills:
.NET & web development
- Strong experience in .NET Core and .NET Framework with C#.
- ASP.NET, including MVC and REST services using Web API / ASP.NET Core.
- Development of automated unit tests and integration tests.
- Strong knowledge of modern clientโside frameworks, ideally Angular, Kendo UI and TypeScript.
- React experience is a plus.
Data & integration
- Database design and SQL development; very good understanding of relational databases.
- Entity Framework is a plus.
- Experience with RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Informatica, Alteryx Analytics Automation, SQL DBX for reporting and automation is a plus.
DevOps & methodologies
- Good command of DevOps practices, Agile methods and CI/CD.
- Experience with tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, XL Deploy, SonarQube, Checkmarx, CyberArk, Azure (Apps).
