Compensation: $450 per hourly

Job Overview:

  • Job ID #: 3242158 Coverage Details: • Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): Hourly & Call.
  • 1 week per month, Monday-Friday (hourly), 1 weekend of call per month, Saturday & Sunday • Frequency of any Call needed: 1 weekend per month, weekend call runs Friday 6p-Monday 7a.
  • Some general cardiology coverage.
  • • Schedule Details: M-F approx.
  • 7am-6pm with some variation based on inpatient service needs.
  • Hospital-based coverage is predominant.
  • 24hr weekend Call begins Friday 6p through Monday 7a.
  • Work Details: • Support staff: 1 Electrophysiology APP provided to assist with hospital-based services • Department Description: Electrophysiology • Patient Volume: Inpatient service: Approximately 15 patients, with 2–3 device implants per day • Patient Age Group: 18+ • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Predominantly inpatient implantable cardiac devices and ablative therapies as needed.
  • Additional procedures include: Implantable Loop Recorders (ILRs), Cardioversions with moderate sedation • Special Equipment Used: CARTO mapping system, Abbott mapping system, Opal HDx mapping system Requirements: • Are Board Certifications Req’d?: Yes, BC in Electrophysiology • Which State License(s) Req’d?: TN • Certifications Required: BLS / ACLS • DEA Required: Yes, unless physician will be non-prescribing (DEA exemption form may be signed if non-prescribing) • 2 years experience required • CLEAN BACKGROUNDS ONLY • Any additional requirements/details to screen for?: clean files, recent background check - all future candidates EP grads with dates of 1990 as an upper reasonable limit Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 60-90 days Are you willing To License?: No Is IMLC Accepted?: Yes Which travel is billable (airfare / hotel / rental car / mileage / etc): flights; and mileage OR rental car Rates: Hourly: $550/hr (weekdays, 7a-6p) Pager Call: $600 flat (Monday-Thursday night call, 6p-7a); $1800 flat (Friday/Saturday/Sunday night call, 6p-7a) Weekend Call: $600/hr, 6 hours per day Callback: $750/hr, only applies if provider has left campus for the day and is called back in physically to facility.
