Job description

Job Summary:
Haddad Toyota, a leading automotive dealership in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, seeks a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, which offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 to $120,000 per year, paid weekly. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnosis at our dealership. We offer a great team system and atmosphere, along with a heated/air-conditioned shop, high-tech equipment, company-supplied tool box's,  shop raffles, paid training, and lots of room for personal growth!
Automotive Technician Compensation & Benefits:

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles using diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Complete work orders and document all services and repairs performed
  • Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure the work area and tools are kept clean and organized
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations
  • Keep up-to-date with new vehicle models and technologies through training and self-study


Automotive Technician Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician in the auto industry required
  • Previous experience in mechanical repairs required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  •  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
