Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Part-Time Operator - Assembly to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform primary process or final assembly of manufactured parts as a team member in the production of exterior automotive lighting products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
  • Loads and unloads materials or parts from production machinery as part of the molding or coating process, or assembles processed parts into finished lighting products.
  • Performs quality review prior to, during, and after the process, separating out bad parts.
  • Keeps work area clean, swept and free of dust, and maintains good 6S' within the department.
  • Ensures that the scrap basket is emptied in regular intervals.
  • Assists department personnel in clean-up operations and machine changes.
  • Locates and brings processed parts to work station for loading when the material handler or technician is unavailable to do so.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED, plus 0 - 2 years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment.
