Job Summary
A growing local company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Testing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform quality assurance, diagnostic testing, and troubleshooting on electrical components and equipment to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offering a stable schedule and a competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine electrical testing, inspection, and measurement on equipment and sub-assemblies.
  • Utilize test equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters) to diagnose electrical failures or anomalies.
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Document test results, inspection logs, and technical reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot root causes of failures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following standard operating procedures and safety regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in electrical testing, assembly, or troubleshooting preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with common testing instruments and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
