AT THIS TIME the location is no longer accepting rehires for GENERAL LABOR roles. CANDIDATES THAT HAVE WORKED FOR TYSON FOODS OR TYSON AFFILIATES 1 OR MORE TIMES WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE.Pay is $16.55 per hour.FOR 2nd and 3rd shift there is an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential.

The General Production Labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency whilemaintaininga safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
Assistwith product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging asrequired
Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
Assistline operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements
Comply withOSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
Use required PPE and follow safe work practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Fresh Plant Environment Expectations
Work directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product
Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards
Wear required PPE, including gloves, aprons, hairnets, and protective footwear
Work in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions
Experience:
Prior manufacturing, production, or general labor experience preferred
Experience in food manufacturing or fresh plant operations a plus
