CW Wright Construction Company is a leading provider of high-quality turnkey transmission, substation, distribution, and solar facility construction services for electric utilities in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest regions of the United States. Our expertise comprises all aspects of utility work including overhead, underground, transmission, telephone special hotline construction, substations, cable splicing, foundations, horizontal and directional boring, and right-of-way clearing.


We are currently seeking EXPERIENCED SUBSTATION LINEMAN to staff full and partial crews in Virginia, North Carolina and Maryland.


Travel is required!

Job Description

Candidates must possess and be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and talents needed to construct new and repair/perform maintenance for electrical high and low voltage substations.

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience in all facets of electrical substation construction.
  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Substation Lineman highly preferred.
  • Required travel.
  • Resumes and or detailed applications are required for all hires; including references that can verify experience level.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must qualify for and or possess a Commercial Driverโ€™s License.
