Job Description

Atwell is growing, and we're seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Land Solutions, Payment Services Team in Southfield, MI.

This full-time, on-site role will primarily manage our client's landowner hotline — serving as the first point of contact for landowner calls and ensuring inquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Beyond the hotline, this person will also support the team with documentation and project organization. After 3–6 months, you may have the option to work from home one day per week (subject to approval).

We're looking for someone with a strong phone presence, the right attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Hotline Management (Primary Focus): Serve as the main point of contact for our client's landowner hotline — answering calls, addressing inquiries, and ensuring landowners receive timely, accurate, and professional responses.
  • Landowner Support: Communicate with landowners, gather information, and route inquiries to Subject Matter Experts. Collaborate with Financial Services Specialists to maintain strong relationships.
  • Document Accuracy: Conduct quality reviews, request supporting materials, and carefully review deeds, titles, and appraisals. Record memorandums with counties when needed.
  • Project Organization: Collect, organize, and maintain project files in line with Atwell standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Financial Services Specialist and Project Manager to ensure tasks and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

  • Experience handling high call volumes or working in a customer service/hotline environment (strongly preferred).
  • 1+ year of administrative experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication — comfortable and confident speaking with people over the phone.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
