What this job involves
Leading industry changing projects
As a Hotels & Hospitality Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will be directly responsible for leading hotel renovations and developments as an extension of the owner's team. Your strong knowledge of hospitality projects from start to finish will speak to your holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen to meet client goals.
Your day to day will vary greatly and provide a dynamic work environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of a project including issuing RFPs, consultant contracts, monthly invoicing, budgeting & reporting, FF&E procurement oversight, driving schedule, conducting weekly meetings, construction oversight, punch list & closeout. SPMs are typically allocated to 2-5 projects at a time, but this varies based on the size, duration & complexity of a project.
  • Applicants need to have ground up construction experience as well as extensive hotel renovation experience.

  • Applicants should be open to travel as necessary (0-4 days per week). This role will serve a variety of clients and is based out of Southern Florida/Miami area.

Education and experience
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required. A degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience related to project or construction management.

  • Hospitality, Hotel, F&B, Luxury construction project management experience required.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Detailed oriented
You'll need to take meticulous notes and maintain financial reporting for multimillion dollar projects. You will need to be a self-starter and be able to approach problems head-on.
A relationship builder
Both verbal and written communication skills are vital, and of course, you'll be good at establishing relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients. This is a client-facing role.
Tech minded
The real estate and construction industries are consistently changing with technology. You'll need to make technology work to your advantage. You must demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.

130,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
