Frontier Hospitality Group is a Midwest-based hotel management company with eight properties across Illinois and Iowa. We are seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our Holiday Inn Express - Moline, IL property.

In this role, you will own the full operation - from financial performance and revenue strategy to team development and guest satisfaction. If you're a hospitality leader who thrives on accountability and loves building high-performing teams, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day hotel operations - managing personnel, assets, and responding to any challenges that arise on property.
  • Champion a guest-first culture - monitor Medallia scores, respond to feedback, and enforce FHG service standards.
  • Drive revenue performance through strategic rate management, pricing, and room allocation to maximize occupancy.
  • Directly supervise and develop all Department Managers; set annual objectives and evaluate performance against goals.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team on long-range marketing strategy and actively manage top accounts.
  • Maintain all property inspections, licenses, certifications, and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in strategic planning with the FHG Corporate office and contribute to the annual business plan.
  • Enforce internal accounting controls and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing training for all management and line-level staff.
  • Maintain brand standards compliance and represent the hotel in the local business community.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hotel management experience (degree in Hospitality or Business preferred)
  • Proven ability to supervise, coach, and motivate teams of up to 50 employees
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and on call for emergencies
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to understand mathematical concepts, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to be insured by the company
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and brand-specific hotel management platforms
