Job description

Opportunity for a full-time Night Auditor.
This position will perform Night Auditor and Guest Services Representative responsibilities including greeting, registering and orienting guests to the hotel as well as responsible for conducting the nightly audit process.
Job Functions:
  • Greeting guests upon their arrival.
  • Registering guests and confirming room rates.
  • Providing information about the Hotel, area merchants, restaurants and companies in the surrounding area.
  • Answering telephone / Wake-up calls.
  • Handling guest questions and concerns.
  • Audit guest room charges.
  • Balance nightly credit card transactions.
  • Receiving payments on accounts.
  • Balancing all daily postings and activities.
  • Preparing daily Managers' Report.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Hotels Preferred.
  • Previous Night Auditor experience ( 1 yr or more) preferred and qualifies for Premium pay rate.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Customer Service Required.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Proven guest relations, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with computerized front office systems, file, computer figures, and handle cash with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Professional image representative of company image.
  • Must be Very Dependable.

Working Conditions:
  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time, finger dexterity, good hearing, performing detailed work at close distances and proficient in English language and excellent at communicating verbally.
  • This position is responsible to work a variety of shifts based on operational demand. During the week, shifts will primarily be full-time, 40 hours from 10 PM to 8 AM, 4 days a week - 3 days off each week. Weekends and holidays included in this position. This position will have a set schedule.
