Job description

Checking people in and out. It’s a no-brainer, right? Often the first encounter, you understand that your interaction can set the tone for the entire guest experience and potentially impact the entire brand! Your genuine warmth and helpful nature enable you to rise to every occasion, from cheerfully greeting the excited family on a vacation adventure to handling the travel-weary guest’s request with prompt courtesy. As a Night Auditor, you’ll have many opportunities to brighten someone’s day.
As Night Auditor, you will
  • Ensure all aspects of hotel accounting for all areas of hotel operations are processed correctly and accurately recorded, protecting the brand and asset against liability and fraud.
  • Audit, balance, post, and report on the front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets’ cash and credit operations and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management.
  • Provide rooms management with a clear picture of their performance using the data gathered.
  • Run the night audit final after ensuring all revenue is in balance.
  • Attend to guest needs at the front desk.
Fundamentals To be successful in this role, you must have excellent English communication skills and be able to read, write and speak fluently. You will regularly use a computer and different software. This position requires continuous movement, and occasionally, you will have to lift or move up to 20 pounds.
Guest Service Agent

SUMMARY:
To assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Guest Service/Front Desk related functions and to maintain high standards of service and hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times. Promptly and effectively deal with guest complaints and requests. Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
  • Post guest charges and compute guest bill, collect payment and make change for hotel guests following all cash handling procedures as required by KWB Hotels.
  • Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures. Be very knowledgeable of Rewards program and promotions.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies. Take reservation requests efficiently.
  • Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette. Block rooms and handle special requests.
  • Monitor room availability.
  • Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures. Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures. Offer and properly handle requests for wake-up calls.
  • Clean lobby, vending room, breakfast room, and back-office area. Occasionally work on laundry during down times adhering to standards.
  • Open and close shift; make cash drops.
  • Ensure all credit cards, cash, and change fund are balanced throughout each shift. Inform management of any guest or systems related complaints or problems.
  • Communicate with incoming staff and management by logging pertinent information in the pass on log. Keep maintenance informed of all maintenance needs.
  • Must wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Practice safety standards at all times.
  • Be able to move luggage or packages weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, of which employee is capable of performing
