About Relentless Beats
Born from founder Thomas Turner's passion for bringing underground music to Arizona, Relentless Beats is now one of the Southwest's most prolific independent music promoters. Producing over 400 events annually and featuring nearly 500 unique artists, Relentless Beats delivers everything from intimate club shows to marquee festivals like Goldrush Music Festival, PHXLIGHTS, Body Language, DUSK, Decadence AZ, and more.
About the Sales Manager Position
Relentless Beats is looking for a Sales Manager who knows how to build meaningful brand partnerships, close sponsorship deals, and create unforgettable event experiences. In this role, you'll lead and support a sales team while also driving your own book of business across our growing portfolio of festivals, concerts, venues, and live entertainment properties.
This is a great fit for someone who is energized by live events, confident in front of clients, and motivated by turning creative ideas into revenue-generating partnerships. You'll work closely with internal teams to bring sponsor activations to life and help partners connect with audiences in ways that feel exciting, memorable, and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities in the Position Include:
  • Prospect, pitch, and close new sponsorship and brand partnership opportunities tied to Relentless Beats events and properties.
  • Build creative, customized partnership packages that align with sponsor goals and create strong value for the brand.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with partners, including renewals, upsells, and expanded opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and support the sales team so they can meet goals, grow professionally, and deliver strong results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, production, and event teams to ensure sponsor commitments are clear, realistic, and successfully executed.
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, budgets, and sales performance using internal tools and CRM systems.
  • Support sponsor needs on-site at events when needed, helping ensure a smooth and positive partner experience.
  • Stay current on industry trends, brand opportunities, and the competitive landscape in live events and entertainment.
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven sales professional who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and keep momentum across multiple deals at once. You know how to listen to what a partner is trying to accomplish, shape a compelling opportunity, and follow through from first conversation to signed agreement and event execution.
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development, or a related revenue-generating role.
  • Experience selling marketing, experiential, event-based, entertainment, hospitality, or brand partnership opportunities is strongly preferred.
  • A strong track record of meeting goals, closing deals, and building trusted client relationships.
  • Comfort leading others, coaching performance, and creating accountability within a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and events move quickly.
  • Comfort using email, spreadsheets, CRM tools, and sales tracking systems.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and event schedules as needed.
Work Environment & Schedule
  • This is a full-time role based primarily at the Relentless Beats corporate office in Phoenix, Arizona, with regular travel to shows and event sites.
  • Because this role supports live events, daytime, evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability may be required.
  • Events may include loud, busy environments and outdoor conditions, including heat or cooler temperatures.
  • The role may involve standing or sitting for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.

Why Relentless Beats?
Join a team that powers some of the Southwest's most iconic music events, where accounting accuracy matters, the pace is exciting, and your work directly supports unforgettable live experiences.
