The Specialty Mechanical Service Technician III will need to have qualifications in one or more of the following: Leak Repair, Field Machining, Line Isolation, NDT Hydrotesting, Hot Tapping & Line Stopping.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures a safe and secure working environment by complying with company and customer safety standards and legal regulations. Promptly addresses any safety concerns.

  • Adheres to all company policies and demonstrates commitment to our core values.

  • Diagnoses issues with leaking components, reporting findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams.

  • Conducts leak mitigation tasks, which may include: 

  • Identifies situations requiring the use of safety equipment. 

  • Completes necessary documentation and administrative tasks. 

  • Works collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management. 

  • Keeps informed about the company’s products and services to better assist customers. 

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds. 

  • Must be physically able to walk, climb, and perform field duties. 

  • Effective communication abilities. 

  • Good observational skills. 

  • Manual dexterity for routine office and field tasks. 

  • Able to travel to off-site locations when necessary. 

  • Skilled in multitasking and maintaining focus in a dynamic environment. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

QUALIFICATIONS

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial? 

  • A high school diploma is required; further education in a technical field or relevant college coursework is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial operations or maintenance roles preferred. 

  • Versatile in handling various tasks and adapting to changing priorities. 

  • Able to meet deadlines efficiently. 

  • Familiarity with plant maintenance and repair is beneficial. 

  • Able to follow supervisors' instructions precisely. 

  • Valid driver's license required. 

  • HAZWOPER training certification is a plus. 

  • Willing to travel 50-70% of the time

  • Based at a branch or on-site location.

  • Involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings. 

  • Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients. 

  • Working near production machinery with high noise levels. 

  • Required to use personal protective equipment. 

  • Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions. 

  • Travel to various sites may be required.
