LEAD LINE INTERVENTION TECHNICIAN

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dedicated Lead Line Intervention Technician in Vineland, NJ. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will be responsible for leading field crews, executing pressurized pipeline operations safely, and collaborating with customers on critical infrastructure projects. In a Lead Line Intervention Technician job youll be responsible for:

  • Performing hot tapping and line stopping operations on active, pressurized pipeline systems.

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining specialized hot tap equipment.

  • Installing fittings, valves, and isolation equipment according to technical drawings.

  • Leading Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.

  • Monitoring pipeline pressures and troubleshooting mechanical issues during field execution.

  • Completing job documentation and coordinating with supervisors and customers.

What youll need:

  • 2+ years of experience in line intervention, hot tapping, or industrial field services.

  • Knowledge of pressurized pipeline systems, technical drawings, and safety practices.

  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass drug screenings.

  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces.
