Motek, a part of Happy Corner Hospitality collective, is a Mediterranean concept restaurant. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences to our valued guests. Position Overview:
As a host/hostess, you will play a crucial role in starting our guests amazing dining experience off on the right foot. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a vital role in setting the tone for the overall dining experience. Responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and organized entry point, the Host ensures a smooth and efficient flow of guests throughout the restaurant.


Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm smile.
  • Manage waitlist and reservations efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls from guests and assist with general inquiries, reservations, takeout orders as needed.
  • Assist with guest requests or accommodations such as seating preferences, high chairs, or any additional special requests.
  • Support takeout/pick up orders as needed.
  • Monitor cleanliness and presentation of host stand, entrances, menus, and guest areas throughout shift.
  • Utilize technology such as SevenRooms to seat guests.
  • Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment by communicating effectively and supporting team members.
