Position Overview

ICS Security is seeking a polished, service-minded Hospitality Security Officer to represent our team at upscale hotel environments across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. This is not a traditional guard post โ€” you will be the first face guests encounter, combining the warmth of a hospitality professional with the situational awareness of a trained security officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a visible, welcoming security presence in hotel lobbies, entrances, and common areas
  • Greet and assist guests while monitoring for safety and access concerns
  • Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior property areas
  • Write accurate, professional incident and daily activity reports
  • Respond calmly and decisively to emergencies, disturbances, or guest concerns
  • Coordinate with hotel management and staff to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
  • Enforce property policies with diplomacy and discretion

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5ย years of experience in hospitality (hotel, resort, luxury services, or related field)
  • Clean criminal background โ€” required for all candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong written reporting ability โ€” clear, accurate, and professional
  • Reliable personal transportation to assigned sites
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • SPO (Special Police Officer) licenseย notย required
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to applyย Preferred
  • Prior military serviceย is a strong plus
