What this job involves

Leading industry changing projects

As aHotels & HospitalitySenior Project Manager at JLL, you will bedirectly responsibleforleading hotel renovations and developments as an extension of the owner's team. Your strong knowledge of hospitality projects from start to finish will speak to yourholistic approachto client needs.Your influence will be founded infacilitatingcritical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site projectleadershipand applying financial acumen to meet client goals.

Your day to day will vary greatly and provide a dynamic work environment. You willbe responsible forall aspects of a project includingissuingRFPs, consultant contracts, monthly invoicing, budgeting & reporting, FF&E procurement oversight, driving schedule, conducting weekly meetings, construction oversight, punch list & closeout. SPMs are typicallyallocatedto 2-5 projects at a time, but this varies based on the size, duration & complexity of a project.

  • Applicants need to have ground up construction experience as well as extensive hotel renovation experience.

  • Applicants should be open to travel as necessary (0-4 days per week). This role will serve a variety of clients and is based out ofSouthern Florida/Miami area.

Education and experience

  • ABachelor'sdegree from an accredited institution isrequired. A degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management ispreferred.

  • 7+years of relevant experience related to project or construction management.

  • Proficiencyin project management software and tools.
