The Hospitality Manager supports the daily operations of the restaurant by leading the front-of-house team, creating memorable guest experiences, and ensuring service standards are executed with consistency and care.

This role partners closely with culinary leadership to create a seamless connection between the kitchen and the dining room. It’s a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves developing people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming, high-energy restaurant culture.

Key Responsibilities
Own the Guest Experience

  • Lead service with a hands-on presence in the lobby/dining room, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and cared for

  • Create a guest experience that reflects our commitment to clean, thoughtfully prepared food and genuine hospitality

  • Anticipate guest needs, respond to feedback with care, and turn service challenges into memorable recovery moments

Manage and Develop the Front-of-House Team

  • Train and mentor service team members on hospitality standards, service flow, and guest engagement

  • Provide real-time coaching and thoughtful feedback during service

Recognize strong performance and help team members grow in confidence and capability
Lead Service & Dining Room Operations
  • Lead service shifts and maintain a strong presence on the floor

  • Ensure clear communication between the front of house and kitchen to support smooth, efficient service

  • Maintain high standards for organization, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the restaurant

Support Operational Excellence
  • Ensure service + hospitality philosophy, safety standards, and operational procedures are consistently followed

  • Support scheduling, staffing, and shift coverage to maintain strong service execution

  • Help the team stay organized and focused during high-volume service periods

Build a Culture of Care
  • Help create a workplace where team members feel supported, respected, and proud of the work they do

  • Lead with professionalism, empathy, and accountability

  • Reinforce goop kitchen’s commitment to people-first leadership and a culture of growth

Requirements

  • 1+ years of restaurant leadership experience (Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Service Leader preferred)

  • Experience in full-service, fast casual or hospitality-driven restaurant environments

  • Passion for food, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to stay organized and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
