Your Role

As a Sales Coordinator, you'll support the hotel's sales efforts by assisting with client outreach, coordinating group bookings, and maintaining accurate records and reports. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external clients to drive revenue and ensure seamless guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on Social Intelligence, works Stronger Together, and brings Grit to every interaction. 

What You'll Do

  • Assist in executing sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
  • Support the sales team with lead generation, client follow up and proposal preparation
  • Coordinate group bookings, contracts, and event details with clients and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and correspondence in the sales system
  • Conduct site tours and represent the hotel at community and industry events as needed
  • Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to forecasting and planning
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Collaborate with the front desk and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Train front desk and applicable staff on sales processes and lead handling
  • Maintain a professional image and uphold brand standards in all interactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel sales systems preferred
  • Knowledge of hospitality sales processes and market dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Comfortable with public speaking and client facing interactions
  • Understanding of revenue management principles is a plus

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in hospitality or sales support preferred
