Fully Remote Position with some travel - MUST reside in PA, MO, or NC


Overview


Culinesse is seeking a Business Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across our Life Plan Community dining programs. This role will focus on analyzing financial, operational, and resident satisfaction data to improve dining performance, enhance resident experience, and support strategic growth.


The ideal candidate understands both hospitality operations and analytics, and can translate complex data into actionable insights for operators and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational & Financial Analysis
  • Analyze dining operations, including labor, food cost, occupancy, and participation rates
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across multiple communities
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost control and revenue growth
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Resident Experience & Engagement

  • Evaluate resident satisfaction surveys and dining feedback
  • Identify patterns in preferences, complaints, and engagement levels
  • Partner with operations to improve dining programs, menus, and service models
  • Process Improvement
  • Assess workflows across fine dining, casual dining, and hospitality venues
  • Recommend process improvements aligned with Culinesse standards and SOPs
  • Support implementation of best practices across communities

Reporting & Insights

  • Develop dashboards and reports for leadership and client partners
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and clients

Client & Growth Support

  • Assist with proposals, pro formas, and new business opportunities
  • Analyze the performance of existing contracts and benchmark against industry standards
  • Support strategic initiatives, including service model enhancements and pricing strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Finance, or related field
  • 3-7+ years of experience in business analysis, hospitality analytics, or senior living
  • Strong understanding of foodservice or hospitality operations (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience working with financial data (P&L, budgets, forecasting)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
