Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring for a Hospitality Aide to be responsible for supporting both activity programming and dining operations, enhancing our residents' quality of life through companionship, engagement, and attentive service. This position blends life enrichment support with dining services, helping ensure that each resident experiences meaningful connection, personalized attention, and exceptional hospitality throughout their day.
What You'll Do
As a Hospitality Aide, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming, engaging, and service-focused environment for our residents.
  • Support resident engagement & life enrichment
    • Assist with life enrichment activities
    • Encourage resident participation
    • Support outings, special events, community celebration
    • Observe resident preferences and share with Life Enrichment Coordinator
  • Support dining & hospitality
    • Assist with meal service
    • Engage with residents during meals
    • Support beverage services, snack delivery, and light food prep
    • Help ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area
  • Cross-functional support
    • Float between life enrichment & dining to meet residents' needs
    • Assist with transitions from activities to meals
    • Assist with resident transportation

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in senior living, hospitality, customer service or food service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Sanitation Certified or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to recognize residents' needs and respond with urgency and compassion
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and some evenings
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry and manipulate various items
  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
  • Must adhere to health and safety rules
  • Must be able to work in a kitchen environment-extreme heat or cold
