Department: Security

Schedule: Evenings | Full-time | 2p-10p, 3 weekends per month

Salary range: $20.14- $27.25 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Coordinate emergency responses by triaging incoming calls and alarms to ensure security teams are dispatched rapidly to where they are needed most.
  • Protect the hospital environment through active surveillance of campus facilities, identifying and mitigating potential risks before they escalate.
  • Drive team communication by serving as the central link between staff and leadership, ensuring critical information flows seamlessly during high-pressure situations.
  • Maintain precise digital records of all security events and surveillance footage to support incident resolution and ensure a high standard of hospital safety.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Security Guard obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Security guard certification through the Maryland State Police Licensing Division.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
