Job description

The Marketing Project Leader partners with hospital service line leaders to develop, execute, and evaluate strategic marketing initiatives that support patient growth, brand awareness, physician engagement, and organizational objectives. This role serves as the primary marketing liaison for assigned service lines, leading integrated marketing campaigns, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimize marketing performance and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
  • Collaborate with service line leaders, physicians, and executive leadership to identify marketing priorities, messaging, growth opportunities, and performance goals.
  • Develop and recommend strategic marketing plans that align with organizational goals and service line growth objectives.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, web, email, video, print, and traditional media channels.
  • Ensure marketing initiatives reflect the organization's brand standards, mission, and values.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization based on analytics and market insights.
  • Conduct competitive, market, and consumer research to support strategic decision-making.

Project Management
  • Lead and coordinate marketing projects from concept through implementation.
  • Develop project timelines, work plans, and deliverables while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Manage workflow among internal departments, creative teams, agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress updates, and address project risks or barriers.
  • Prioritize multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Digital Marketing & Communications
  • Oversee website content updates and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and engaging service line information.
  • Support content development for digital marketing, social media, email marketing, patient communications, and physician outreach.
  • Partner with internal and external creative resources to develop marketing materials and multimedia content.
  • Ensure all communications comply with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational standards.

Data Analytics & Performance Measurement
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance using key marketing metrics and dashboards.
  • Evaluate return on investment (ROI), patient acquisition trends, engagement metrics, and market performance.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve campaign effectiveness and inform future marketing strategies.
  • Manage and monitor assigned marketing budgets and expenditures.

Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned service lines and departments.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, administrators, clinical leaders, and community partners.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, vendors, and consultants.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication across departments and stakeholders.

Organizational Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare marketing, communications, public relations, business development, or related field.
  • Experience managing complex projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders required.
  • Experience supporting physician practices, hospital service lines, or healthcare organizations preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy, branding, campaign management, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
