Prodware Solutions LLC is seeking a travel Hospital Pharmacist for a travel job in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Position: Hospital Pharmacist
Contract: 13 weeks + High possibility of extension
Location: Nacogdoches, TX 75965
Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 5*8 Shift

Job Summary:
Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join the hospital pharmacy team for a 13-week contract assignment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing safe, accurate, and effective medication management and pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications.
Dispense and prepare medications in accordance with hospital policies and applicable regulations.
Provide clinical pharmacy services and support optimal medication therapy for patients.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related issues.
Monitor patients' medication therapy and make recommendations when appropriate.
Provide drug information and medication-related education to healthcare staff and patients.
Ensure proper medication storage, handling, and documentation.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and comply with hospital and regulatory requirements.
Participate in medication safety and quality-improvement initiatives.
Perform other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Active Pharmacist license from the State Board and Active BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience.
Hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of medication therapy, pharmacy practices, and patient safety.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Active Pharmacist license from the State Board and Active BLS certification
