Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract at an acute care hospital using Cerner EMR.

  • Acute care hospital respiratory therapy unit
  • 12-hour night shifts
  • Flexible weekend rotation: 2 weekends on, 1 weekend off
  • Cerner EMR in use; facility is transitioning to Epic

Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
  • Active certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS (AHA)
  • License required if applicable โ€” license must be active by the start date
  • 2 professional references required for consideration: 1 from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years of relevant experience
Additional Information
  • Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to an adjusted pay rate
  • Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 6 months and require hospital approval before being considered
