Job description

Position Overview: ER RN Nights

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team, and play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients in the Emergency Department (ER) setting.

The RN ER shall be responsible for providing and coordinating all direct and indirect patient care necessary to patient care in the hospital Emergency environment. The patient care must be provided in manner promoting wellness, compliance, education for life style change, and return to highest level of health attainable; and in conformance with recognized standards. The RN will be accountable for the nursing care activities he/she has delegated to other appropriate members of the health care team. This accountability includes the evaluation and supervision of those team members necessary to ensure their competency in safely and effectively fulfilling delegated responsibilities. The RN must always focus on the responsibility to function as a patient advocate.

Rate of pay depends on experience.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
