JOIN OUR TEAM AS A MAINTENANCE WORKER

Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm with weekends as needed (flexible schedule)

Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

The Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred; two years of technical or trade school preferred.
  • Experience: Must have experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions. Must experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering.
  • Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have complete knowledge of physical plant within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, preventive maintenance, and tests and inspections of the hospital.
  • Clean and change air filters, kitchen grease traps and stove hood filters.
  • Dispose of infectious/contaminated waste from the hospital.
  • Maintain hospital grounds in a neat and attractive appearance.
  • Maintain all light fixtures in good working condition and change light bulbs as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance electrical test as well as the removal, installation, and repair of all mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and safety/risk management plans policies and procedures.
