The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an East Regional Sales Manager within our Cardiometabolic and Informatics (CMI) business. This field-based leadership role covers the Eastern United States and may be based near any major airport. The territory includes Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and all states east of these locations. Reporting to the General Manager, U.S. Commercial Cardiometabolic, this role is responsible for driving sales performance and achieving regional business objectives aligned with the Cardiometabolic business unit's strategic plan. The East Regional Sales Manager will lead a team of District Sales Managers and Cardiometabolic Account Executives, provide dotted-line leadership to Technical Consultants, and partner with distribution organizations to execute regional sales strategies.

Success in this role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Contracts & Pricing, Finance, and Training & Development, to drive growth and deliver business results.

What You'll Work On

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage regional sales activities, forecasts, CRM pipeline, and budgets.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals.
  • Collaborate with Technical Consultants and distributor partners to drive commercial success.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and customer agreements to meet revenue and margin goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key national and regional accounts.
  • Monitor team performance, conduct business reviews, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Travel extensively (minimum 3 days per week) to support field teams and customer engagement.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, Contracts & Pricing, and Training teams to execute strategic initiatives.

Required Qualification

  • BA/BS/BBA with preferred concentration in sales, marketing, nursing, medical technology, or business.
  • 8+ years of successful sales experience.
  • 5+ years' experience managing field sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic selling methods in the clinical market.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven sales leader with a strong track record of successfully developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and exceed performance goals.
  • Must meet vendor credentialing requirements, ability to work in physician and hospital settings.
  • Diagnostics experience is preferred
  • Demonstrates adaptability in a changing organization and quickly embraces new processes, policies, and business initiatives.
