What is a hospital greeter?

Hospital greeters are staff members who welcome patients, visitors, and guests as they enter a hospital. They provide directions, answer questions, and assist with navigation throughout the facility. Hospital greeters often encounter challenges such as handling high volumes of visitors, managing stressful situations, and effectively communicating with people who may be anxious or upset. To manage these challenges, it's important to remain calm under pressure, develop strong interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable about hospital policies and directions.
