Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team. The Hospital Revenue Cycle Manager oversees and ensures the efficiency of billing, collection, and payment posting processes, and monitors their performance and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ensures that patient financial matters are handled efficiently.

  • Supervise billing, collecting, and payment posting processes within a freestanding psychiatricย hospital organization's central business office.
  • Oversee and manage all employees within the business office, guiding team members to understand and achieve performance targets and goals.ย 
  • Ensure timely follow-up and collection of behavioral health and chemical dependency claims for both Inpatient and Outpatient levels of care.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the facility, insurance companies, and third-party payors to resolve outstanding owed balances.ย 
  • Understand balances in the Accounts Receivable system for the collection of insurance amounts and adjust account balances appropriately.ย 
  • Identify payor issues proactively in relation to zero payment, payment variance, billing, and denials with a high degree of accuracy and report to Management. File complaints on insurance payors as needed according to policy and procedure.ย 
  • Complete Medicare Bad Debt reports monthly and Quarterly Credit Report.

Your Experience Matters What weโ€™re looking for:

  • Education:ย Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience:ย 
    • Minimum of five (5) yearsโ€™ experience in a multi-faceted business office, preferably in a health-care setting, with billing and collection procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors.
    • Minimum of three (3) years' proven supervisory or management experience in a healthcare business office environment.ย 
    • Experience with insurance billing and proficiency.
  • Additional Skill Requirement:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excel predominantly.
    • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential.
    • Detail-oriented with effective time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-starter with a high degree of drive, initiative, forward-thinking, and follow-through.
    • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed.

Compensation:
