Description

Responsible for the operational management, reliability, security, and performance of enterprise database systems supporting the institution’s core administrative services, including Human Resources, Finance, and Student Information Systems. This role manages a team of database administrators and works collaboratively with enterprise systems, application development, infrastructure, and functional business units to ensure high availability, integrity, and security of institutional data, with a strong emphasis on Oracle database environments and proactive multilayered monitoring. The position also manages and optimizes mid-tier application environments by ensuring efficient database connectivity, performance, security, documentation, and integration with enterprise systems.

Manages the administration of enterprise database platforms and mid tier platforms, including installation, configuration, tuning, upgrades, and patching, ensuring performance, stability, availability, and compliance with institutional standards. Oversees performance monitoring, capacity planning, and support for ERP systems such as HR, Finance, and Student Information Systems.
