Asa Admin assistantatMercyOne, you will provide preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance to the buildings, equipment, and grounds for MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center and extended facilities. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for successfully providing resources to oversee hospital facility programs to ensure a safe environment. The Facilities Coordinator oversees the work order system and implementation, licenses, wayfinding, project management budgeting, Peoplesoft requisitions and procurement, coordinating departmental travel, and oversight of departmental policies and files. The customer population Plant Engineering serves is anyone accessing MercyOne Medical Center's services and its extended facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, patients, families, physicians, staff, visitors, and all departments within the facility and its extended family, external contractors, and vendors.

  • Full time

General Requirements:

  • Actively demonstrates the organization's mission and core values and always conducts oneself consistently with these values.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, and Trinity Health Culture other policies and procedures to ensure adherence that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

  • Coordinates all facility local, state, and government licenses. Includes applications, renewal, and processing of the following: FCC, State boiler and elevator, Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Agency, and other governmental licenses necessary to operate MercyOne.

  • Dispatch facilities employees for emergency management and security support to the appropriate locations and determine the response level required.

  • Budgeting, invoice management, and procurement for Threshold and local capital project coordination

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Degree from higher level education degree that requires a high school diploma or GED as a pre-requisite is also permitted.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, emphasizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in leading teams and personnel.

  • Healthcare facility experience is preferred.

  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
