FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care is a 5 STAR rated non-profit hospice offering compassionate end-of-life care support.
As a Hospice RN you will have flexibility in providing skilled complex care to the hospice patient and family in the community. The RN will work collectively with members of the interdisciplinary team to facilitate and oversee a care plan and symptom management needs in the home environment. The complexity of managing and educating the hospice patient & family on advanced disease processes is a rewarding experience and opportunity to practice in a specialty area.

Hospice RN Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a current NC RN license or compact state RN license.
  • At least two years of experience in an acute care facility or home care agency.
  • Must possess a valid NC driver's license.
  • National Certification (CHPN) recommended after completion of at least two years of full-time experience as an RN in a hospice nursing practice.
