Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a healthcare facility in New Mexico. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician to provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support overall clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
  2. Administer medications and treatments within the scope of LPN practice
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and observe patient conditions
  4. Assist patients with activities of daily living including mobility, hygiene, and comfort care
  5. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
  6. Communicate patient status updates to RNs, physicians, and care teams
  7. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
  8. Support admissions, discharges, and patient care coordination

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings
  • Experience working with geriatric or post-acute care patients
