Job description

Job Description A highly reputable healthcare system in Massachusetts is searching for a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Hospice House in Reading. In this role, you will assist in providing meaningful care and support to terminally ill patients and their families. Your presence and service will bring comfort to patients who face the end of their lives and help them reach acceptance and peace of mind.

Responsibilities: Provide compassionate and quality care to hospice patients. Observe, record, and report significant patient status changes to the MD and RN. Participate in patient education.

Communicate with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members. Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Active LPN License. 1+ years of LPN experience is required. Desire to work with hospice patients is required.

Additional info: Full-time, permanent position 3x12, 7p-7a Pay: $31-37/hr. base, depending on experience, + differentials. Desirable benefits and perks.
