Job description

General Job Description Under general supervision, is responsible for supervision of Summer Camp Children's Programs. Responsibilities include: overseeing, organizing, and planning activities for children ages 5-12 years old. Assists with games, special events, and programs under the countywide Recreation Department Program.

Ensures playing surfaces are clear and safe and programs are prepared for the activity. Administers general First Aid. Enforces and interprets rules and regulations in designated recreation districts.

Provides assistance if necessary. Position Minimum Requirements Must be in good standing with Horry County School District. Additional Information Must have considerable knowledge of preparing and assisting with recreational programs, athletic activities and coordinating of recreational facilities.

Must be able to pass the pre-employment background check and physical.
