Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror - we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects including strobe lights, fog, artificial smells, and more. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and a variety of other discounts and perks.  

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage operation including but not limited to operating the POS system, performing basic food preparation, providing exemplary guest service by greeting guests, helping with internal and external crowd control, and supporting mobile pick up. Assists with cleaning duties that include mopping floors, emptying trash, and wiping down tables and restocking condiments, bussing tables, and running food as necessary. Assists with the efficient flow of Team Member Dining for food and beverage orders, accurate pick-up dining process and queuing, and ensuring food station are properly stocked and maintained.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for basic preparation of light-bite food options, handhelds and/or preparation of food (i.e. operating fryers to handle fried food cooked on a timer or slicing meat carvings) for quick service locations within Universal Horror Unleashed.
  • Responsible for taking and filling orders of Food and Beverage requested by guests. Operates POS accurately and follows established procedures by properly processing credit card transactions, discounts, etc.
  • Supports Team Member Dining pick up by ensuring all food and beverage orders are correct, timely and all condiment stations are properly stocked and maintained. Assists with ensuring an efficient flow of dining options for Team Members during set pick up times.
  • Provides friendly and courteous assistance to guests while answering questions and directing guests within the venue. Maintains internal and external crowd control and line speed.
  • Assists with cleaning tables in the dining areas in an efficient and expedient manner. Maintain floors by sweeping and mopping. Empty garbage, stock and replenish condiment stand, and straighten chairs.
  • Ensures adherence to the Nevada State Liquor Statutes and food safety handling state requirements.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Must be able to obtain LVMPD Non-Gaming Work Card upon hire.
