Universal Horror Unleashed is a terrifyingly unique experience that will bring haunts to Las Vegas year-round. Located at Area 15 is the heart of horror - we would love to have you haunting alongside us! With the nature of this experience comes a unique working environment. You will find yourself working in dark environments around special effects, including strobe lights, fog, artificial smells, and more. The working hours will be unique, typically spanning over late evenings/nights and weekends (holidays included). Full-Time and Seasonal/On-Call positions available. Full-Time positions are eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and various other discounts and perks.

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work within the United States.

Actors:

Seeking trained, experienced actors for principal roles in a live, scripted, theatrical show and immersive experience. Candidates must be able to follow designated character storylines, scripts, directed improvisation, and themed responses.

  • The first round of auditions will be via online video submission only.
  • Please submit a current headshot, full-length body shot, resume, and a one-minute monologue (see below) in your Auditions Profile.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be eligible for consideration.
  • All callbacks will be by invitation only.

Character Types Needed:

Male Presenting Actors
Medium build between the heights of 5'6" to 5'9"
Large build between the heights of 5'6" and 6'0"
Extra-large build between the heights of 6'1" and 6'3"

Female Presenting Actors
Extra small build between the heights of 5'0" and 5'1"
Small build between the heights of 5'3" and 5'4"
Medium build between the heights of 5'6" and 5'10"
Large build between the heights of 5'5" and 5'6"

Actors should follow these video submission guidelines:

  1. Introduction: State your first and last name and height. Perform a slow 360-degree turn with your arms extended out to the side.
  2. Monologue: Perform a dramatic theatrical monologue of your choice, no more than 1 minute in length. Ensure it showcases your acting range and abilities. Preferred themes are dark, horror, or intense in spirit.
  3. Video: Use a solid color wall or backdrop for the audition slate. Record with your full body in the frame. Wear a t-shirt and shorts or dancewear.
  4. Lighting and Sound: Ensure your video is well-lit and the sound is clear. Avoid background noise.
  5. Format: Submit your video in MP4 or MOV format.
  6. Length: Keep your video to 1 minute.
  7. Upload video once complete to your Auditions Profile.

Scareactors:

Seeking Scareactors for various non-speaking roles in a live, theatrical show and immersive experience. Candidates must be able to follow designated character storylines, take direction well, and perform basic themed movement vocabulary.

  • Submit a current headshot, full-length body shot, and resume in your Auditions Profile.
  • Incomplete submissions will not be eligible for consideration.
  • All auditions will be by invitation only.
