Horizons Edge Sports Campus is hiring for part time Sports Program Monitors! Applicants must have flexible working schedules including nights and weekends!

The Sports Program Monitor is responsible for accurately operating the game clock and scoreboard during sports programs at Horizons Edge. This role ensures fair play by maintaining precise timing, recording scores, and supporting referees and event staff with time and score-related functions.

Duties:

  • Operate the scoreboard and game clock for scheduled sports programs.
  • Start, stop, and reset the game clock in accordance with official rules and referee signals.
  • Record and update scores, fouls, and timeouts promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with referees, coaches, and event staff regarding timing issues.
  • Ensure the clock and scoreboard equipment are functioning properly before each event.
  • Follow all facility and league rules for timekeeping and scoring procedures.
  • Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout games, including high-pressure moments.
  • Assist with pre-game and post-game setup and breakdown of clock/scoreboard equipment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or irregularities to facility management.
  • Exemplify the facility’s policies and procedures to all staff and guests

Qualifications:

  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays required)
