Horizons Edge Sports Campus is hiring for a full-time Program Manager to oversee coordination of sports leagues, tournaments and event, and recreational programming througout the year!

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves creating great customer experiences, and can keep a lot of moving pieces organized. From building league schedules and coordinating officials to solving game/event-day challenges and helping teams have an incredible experience, you’ll be at the center of the action.

Job Summary: The Program Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all sports leagues, fitness, and recreation programs offered at Horizons Edge. This position is responsible for developing innovative programming, managing staff and budgets, ensuring high-quality participant experiences, and fostering community engagement to support Horizons Edge’s mission and growth objectives.


Expected Job Functions:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a diverse range of sports leagues, clinics, camps, tournaments,and fitness programs for all age groups and skill levels.
  • Research and identify emerging trends in sports and recreation to maintain a competitive andengaging program mix.
  • Work with Operations Director to coordinate facility scheduling for programs, ensuring efficientuse of space and minimal conflicts.
  • Foster relationships with partner organizations and tournament and event owners in order tooptimize facility usage and maximize revenue.
  • Monitor program participation, collect feedback, and make improvements based on data andparticipant input.
  • Respond promptly to participant inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism andcare.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate program staff, instructors, and volunteers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, professional development, and performance feedback to ensureprogram excellence.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects the organization’s values andcustomer service standards.
  • Working with Executive and Horizons Edge Leadership, develop and manage program budgets,including forecasting revenues, controlling expenses, and meeting financial goals.
  • Track and report on program financial performance and identify opportunities for cost savingsor revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations to expandparticipation and partnerships.
  • Represent the sports complex at community events, meetings, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure all programs operate in compliance with safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure facilities and equipment are safe,clean, and well-maintained.


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports, or facility management, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, facility or event management, sports administration or a related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of sportsplex operations best practices
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required
  • Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period
