Position Overview

Thrive Horizons Wellness is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team in El Paso, Texas. Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while engaging with clients through our comprehensive telehealth platform. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients to foster a productive therapeutic environment.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, utilizing best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
  • Create tailored treatment plans that consider individual patient needs, including cultural contexts, family dynamics, and personal goals.
  • Facilitate individual and couple therapy sessions, addressing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.
  • Consistently meet with patients to provide therapy, regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress.
  • Collaborate with a cohesive team of healthcare professionals, referring patients to specialists when necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and research in mental health to continually enhance therapeutic approaches and improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families, each facing unique challenges in their mental health journey. Whether addressing issues stemming from relationship conflicts, navigating the complexities of family dynamics, or supporting clients through transitions in their lives, your expertise in marriage and family therapy will be essential in helping them achieve their goals and improve their mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • Active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Proven skills in therapeutic practices, with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and motivate clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a strong focus on teamwork and interpersonal interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in addiction counseling or with co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices related to substance abuse treatment and mental health interventions.
  • Previous experience working in a telehealth capacity will be an advantage, as adapting to virtual therapy presents unique challenges and rewards.

  • Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
