SUMMARY:

As our Warehouse Picker youโ€™ll be responsible for accurately selecting product, providing the warehouse team with support while keeping the facility looking organized. Weโ€™re seeking a reliable, positive minded team player to join our growing Warehouse. If you donโ€™t mind working Monday through Friday with every weekend off, you could be a perfect fit! Youโ€™ll help improve our overall shipping experience by working efficiently together as a team.

Requirements:


  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward other team members & management
  • Assist shipping and receiving store product on delivery trucks & checking in merchandise
  • Read picking orders, work instructions, shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping to other designated areas
  • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Communicating effectively, using positive language, to internal staff & external visitors
  • Casual warehouse appearance and a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department.
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
  • Comply with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data

Position & Work Schedule Expectation:

  • This is a full-time position.
  • Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • This position works in a warehouse setting, with minimal outdoor exposure during the workday
  • Regularly needed to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
  • Ability to move less than 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally, using a dolly when needed to ensure safety
  • Must be able to perform duties without continuous supervision
  • This position will be exposed to colder temperatures in winter months and warmer temperatures in summer months.
  • This role also utilizes standard warehouse equipment such as hand-held scanners, pallet jacks, box cutters, tape dispensers and shrink wrap dispensers.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
  • One year of prior Warehouse experience preferred.
