As a Residential Plumbing Installer, you'll specialize in retrofit plumbing installations, replacing outdated plumbing systems and fixtures with high-quality new solutions. This is a hands-on installation role focused on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You won't be expected to sell services, you'll focus on completing clean, professional installations that homeowners can trust.

Responsibilities: 
  • Install residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment including water heaters, toilets, faucets, sinks, disposals, and other plumbing components.
  • Complete retrofit plumbing installations by removing existing equipment and installing new systems to current plumbing codes and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform rough-in and finish plumbing work for residential remodeling and replacement projects.
  • Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and install piping using appropriate hand and power tools.
  • Install pipe assemblies, valves, fittings, drains, and water distribution systems.
  • Pressure test plumbing systems and inspect installations for leaks, proper operation, and code compliance.
  • Safely remove and dispose of existing plumbing fixtures and materials.
  • Read blueprints, job specifications, and installation instructions to ensure accurate project completion.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout each installation.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding the installation process and answer basic questions about their new equipment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, local plumbing codes, and manufacturer installation standards.
  • Complete required job documentation and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
  • Two 2+ years of residential plumbing installation experience required. 
  • Experience with retrofit installations, rough-ins, remodels, and fixture replacements.
  • Strong understanding of residential plumbing systems, piping materials, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation specifications.
  • Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in the field.
  • Excellent workmanship with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the installation team.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including kneeling, climbing, crawling, bending, and working in confined spaces.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
