Job description

Those Who Can, Do - Those Who Can Do More, Volunteer

Our Hope Health Care Esteemed Volunteers are not about changing the world, but making a significant difference in one small part of the world.

In an effort to surround our patients and families with superior care and service, we make great effort to recruit and pursue volunteers that have a 'hopeful" heart. Our Hope Health Care family of Esteemed Volunteers start with "heart", then we add valuable experience and constant education so that they can deliver patient companionship that is highly compassionate, yet professional.

Training

Our Esteemed Volunteers are invaluable members of our hospice family; therefore, we provide free detailed training prior to meeting patients. Hope also provides on-going education, as well as volunteer support.

Time

We work around your schedule!! Our Esteemed Volunteers usually serve between 1 to 4 hours per week!

LOCATION

As a Patient Companion volunteer, you will be matched with a patient in or around your community
