We are currently seeking a Behavioral Health Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (BHT/RBT) in Anchorage, Alaska.
Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
This position is based in the Hope Behavioral Health Clinic and serves in a dual role as a Behavioral Health Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (BHT/RBT). The BHT/RBT provides services to individuals who experience Autism under the supervision of a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and to individuals who experience mental health disorders under the direction of a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Responsibilities include:
- Implements Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and therapeutic interventions as directed by a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Supports positive behavior change by reinforcing appropriate replacement behaviors and utilizing evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Accurately tracks and documents support recipient behaviors, skills, progress, and interventions, contributing to data collection, reports, and treatment planning.
- Collaborates with the individuals team to support individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Provides services in clinic-based, community, and home settings as required by service plans.
This is a full time, 32hr/week, benefits eligible position.
Must be available between 8am and 6:15pm, Monday-Friday.
If not already credentialed as a Registered Behavior Technician, Hope Community Resources will provide all the required training to be able to sit for the RBT certification offered through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
