Job description

Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing outreach initiatives and digital engagement strategies to strengthen community relationships for client projects.  This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain attention to details, consistent follow-up and project updates.  Prior experience managing client projects, developing project collaterals, and documenting project progress. 

Community Engagement & Outreach

Plan and execute public outreach initiatives, public events, residents and business owner in-person engagement, serve as the primary point of contact for community members, responding to inquiries and facilitating feedback, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, residents, and local leaders to promote client projects and programs.  Utilize project management tool to track time, report progress and brief team.

 Social Media Management 

Develop and implement social media strategies for client projects for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, create, curate, and schedule compelling content using Hootsuite or similar social media management tools, respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner, monitor activity and adjust messages to optimize performance
